Candle Safety

A little care goes a long way in ensuring a safe, clean & beautiful burn every time.

  • Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn to help minimise soot and promote a clean, even flame.

  • On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly to the edges of the vessel. This typically takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and helps prevent tunnelling.

  • Keep your candle away from drafts, ceiling fans, and air conditioning vents, as airflow may cause uneven burning or smoking.

  • Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and keep it away from children, pets, and flammable objects.

  • Discontinue use when approximately 10mm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel to prevent overheating or damage to surfaces.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
